Headteacher's Blog
What a week it has been here at Llangan! It has certainly been one of our busiest of the year, but also one filled with so many moments to celebrate.
Our Summer Show, High School Musical, was an absolute triumph! We couldn't be prouder of every single child who took to the stage. The confidence, enthusiasm and talent on show was simply amazing. We often say that we may be a small school, but we really are small but mighty, and this week's performances proved exactly that. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the show such a success, and to all of our families for your wonderful support.
There were a few tears (from the grown-ups!) as we celebrated our Nursery Graduation this week. It has been such a joy to watch our youngest learners grow in confidence over the year, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. They are more than ready for their next adventure, and we can't wait to see them start full-time school in September.
School reports have also gone home this week. Sitting down and reflecting on each and every child at Llangan is always a lovely reminder of just how lucky we are. It really isn't an exaggeration to say that our pupils are incredible. They are kind, hardworking, talented, thoughtful and a genuine pleasure to spend our days with. We hope you enjoy reading your child's report together this weekend and taking the opportunity to celebrate all they have achieved this year. If you haven't yet collected your child's report, don't worry, they are safely waiting in the school office and can be collected by a parent or carer.
Next week is a big one for our wonderful Year 6 pupils. Their final school trip, Leavers' Assembly and lots of fun activities are all still to come before they spread their wings. We know it will be a week full of smiles, laughter and probably a few more tears too, as we celebrate everything they have brought to our school community.
Please see below for some important reminders for next week.
Enjoy your weekend,
Mrs Becky Heavyside
