It has been another fantastic week in school, with so much to celebrate across all year groups.
Our Year 4 pupils have excelled in their swimming lessons this week, and we could not be prouder of them. Not only have they shown determination and enthusiasm in the pool, but their behaviour has been absolutely incredible. They have represented our school brilliantly, demonstrating respect, resilience and excellent listening skills throughout each session. Well done, Year 4!
Outdoor Learning has also been thriving as pupils explored the wonderful produce growing in our school allotment. From vegetables to other home-grown delights, it has been a fantastic opportunity for children to see first-hand where food comes from and to appreciate the importance of caring for our environment. We are incredibly fortunate to have such beautiful school grounds and outdoor spaces that provide rich learning experiences for all our pupils.
Despite the rainy weather, our Year 1 and Year 2 children enjoyed a fantastic Cluster Sports Day today at Y Bont Faen Primary. The rain certainly didn't dampen spirits! Pupils showed great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the event, and it was wonderful to see everyone taking part with such enthusiasm and smiles on their faces.
Looking ahead, next week marks the beginning of our Summer Show rehearsals. We are excited to see our talented performers begin preparing for what promises to be a wonderful production. We will also be taking our class photographs, so please remember to come to school looking your very best and don't forget to do your hair!
Thank you to all parents that have taken the time to complete our parent questionnaire and our breakfast club consultation. There's still time to complete them if you haven't yet done so.
