What a kicking start to the year we've had in our football match with a fantastic result of 7 to Llangan and 4 to Y-Bont-Faen. My team did absolutely amazing. We were  all over the ball, nothing I mean NOTHING was getting past our defence except those four goals but our GK and defenders were on fire. 

It was our first home game at Llangan primary school. Kickoff started at exactly Monday 8th September 3:15 and ended at 4:15. That hour was our time to shine and guess what, we did shine, we shone more than the stars,  throughout the game we played phenomenally as a team. It was a tough start with Y-Bont-Faen taking the lead 2-0. Clearly we needed to change tactics. So I instructed my team to tackle hard. This was my opportunity to get in there and score. With a smooth pass from Theo I took the chance to take the shot and scored our first goal from this it gave us a positive motivation as a team with Theo scoring the second and third goal to take the lead. With our adrenaline running high I scored our fourth goal this was showing our solidarity as a team. Our fifth goal was achieved by Theo taking a throw into the box, with my head I smashed it into the goal. The last two goals were scored by Jack with his fantastic boot skills.

Overall it was a fantastic result, as we haven't had training sessions since June, I'm looking forward to the season to see what we can accomplish as a team with training sessions back in place.

Year 5 - 

As we walked on the pitch at Llangan, getting ready for the match. Camille Meunier and Huw Smart in attack a good duo, in midfield Evan Ham and Eva Reed and in defence Marla O'Connor and Ella Rogers. Finally, last but not least in goals we have Arthur Hogben. As soon as the whistle started, Y-Bont-Faen passed the ball straight away, Camille Meunier steals the ball he does a roulette that skills 2 players, then a dragback, passes to Huw Smart and he smashes the ball in the goal. ggggggggggooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllll

1-0 to Llangan. Then Y-Bont-Faen take kick off, get a few passes, then Huw Smart  intercepts the ball and does a one-two with Camille Meunier and... gggggggggggggooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllll!

Huw scores again 2-0. Kick-off, again then plays the ball high. Marla O’Connor controls, passes to Eva who passes to Camille, who dribbles. Then someone falls on him. Foul. Free kick. Camille curls it in the bottom corner it hits the post then the one on the other side and it goes to y bont faen who boots it out. Llangan throw in. Theres an opportunity, but Llangan miss, goal kick. They play simple a few passes then Eva intercepts it and shoots, misses and it goes to y bont faen and they pass to there keeper but the keeper misses it own goal

3-0 Llangan. Then Llangan have a few opportunities but sadly miss. Goalie kicks the ball in play. llangan get the ball, then Y-Bont-Faen tackle Llangan and play in the box and...

3-1 to Llangan. Kick off, Camille plays the ball to Huw, then to Evan, back to Huw for the dribble then corner ball to Llangan and Camille subbed off for Georgiana and Huw. Goalie clears out to a bont faen player who dribbles plays the pass and goal

3-2 TO LLANGAN

  HALF TIME

As we walk on the pitch for kick off Huw smart plays the ball to Evan who plays to Marla o’Conor, who plays back, he plays to Huw and gets tackled. Throw in too Llangan. Plays to Evan who plays up to the corner, Huw swaps with Camille's corner taken miss. Y bont faen score
