    A great chance to meet your child’s new teacher, hear about routines, and see how you can support learning at home.

    Tues 9th Sept
    3:30 pm – Year 2/3 (Mrs Jarman-Davies)
    4:00 pm – Year 4 (Mr Howles)

    Thurs 10th Sept
    3:30 pm – Nursery (Mrs Stevens & Miss Llewellyn)
    4:00 pm – Year 5/6 (Mrs Heavyside & Mrs Antoniou)

    This Thursday, Llangan Primary School will come together to mark 80 years since Victory in Europe Day with a special school-wide picnic party! 🧺✨

    🥪 Sandwiches (ham, tuna, or cheese) us online
    🍰 Delicious treats baked by our wonderful cook, Cez
    🎶 Music, memories & community
    🕊️ A visit from Marion of Penllyn WI, sharing her wartime memories as a schoolgirl

    We’ll be learning about how people celebrated peace in 1945 with street parties, music and hope for the future. 

    Let’s come together as a school family to celebrate, remember and reflect

    📢 Rags 2 Riches Collection – Tomorrow at Llangan Primary! 📢

    We’re collecting old clothes tomorrow to raise funds and help communities abroad! 🌍✨

    🛍 What to do:

    • Bring your old clothing in the bags provided or in bin bags.

    • Drop them off in the wooden outdoor classroom near the car park in the morning.

    ✅ What you CAN include:
    👚 Clothes (adult and children's)
    👖 Paired shoes
    👜 Handbags
    👒 Hats, belts, accessories
    🧣 Scarves, ties, gloves
    🧥 Coats
    🧸 Soft toys

    ❌ What you CANNOT include:
    🚫 Duvets, pillows, or cushions
    🚫 Bedding or curtains
    🚫 Rugs or carpets
    🚫 Wet, dirty, or damaged items
    🚫 School or work uniforms with logos
