β° Punctuality Matters – A Polite Reminder
School starts at 8:55 am, and classroom doors open from 8:45 am (unless your child is attending Breakfast Club). Recently, we have noticed a growing number of children arriving later and later. This is a concern, as our first lesson (Maths) begins promptly at 9:00 am.
Arriving late not only disrupts the start of your child’s learning but also affects the rest of the class and delays teachers in completing registers. Additionally, staff supervising the school gates are being held back due to late arrivals, impacting the start of lessons.
π A proud moment for Llangan Primary School! π
Our Head Boy and Head Girl represented the school at the Vale of Glamorgan’s Super Ambassador event at the Civil Offices in Barry. They had the opportunity to meet other student leaders from across the region, learning about leadership, responsibility, and teamwork—core principles aligned with the rights of the child, ensuring every student’s voice is heard and valued.

Their enthusiasm and commitment to upholding these values truly reflect what it means to be a part of Team Llangan. We’re so proud of them for taking part in this inspiring event! π

πΆ A Celebration of Music & Collaboration! πΆ

At Llangan, we believe in empowering our pupils to be active citizens who make a difference in school, the community, and beyond. Our Senedd gives them a voice in shaping the way our school runs, and today, they tackled an important issue—how to improve lunchtimes and playtimes!
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Caretaker/Cleaner to join our team at Llangan Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring our school remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
