On Thursday 31st January, a group of extraordinary individuals, including Llangan Legends, parents, and grandparents, generously devoted their free time to joining Mrs. Stevens in revitalising our school arboretum. An arboretum, housing a diverse collection of trees, graces the corner of the car park as you enter from the access lane. This green space was initially planted by previous staff, parents, children, and our dad's club.
Revd Duncan Ballard, the Ministry Area Leader for the Cowbridge Area of the Church in Wales has asked us to share this poster with our community for a service this Sunday in Holy Cross Church in Cowbridge.

Please be careful when entering the school site and car park today due to icy conditions. Mr Vaughan our caretaker has been gritting the school site and the VOG council has gritted the roads. However,, it's very icy entering the school car park.
We look forward to welcoming our pupils back to school today.

A reminder that our exciting Family Learning Course will be taking place in our school. Starting on Tuesday, 9th January, from 1 to 3:30 pm, the Fizzy Fun Science course will run for 10 weeks. This course, led by a teacher called Emma from Cardiff and Vale College (CAVC), will allow parents and family members to work alongside their child, exploring various STEM experiments. The course is free for all and open to children from years 2 to 6. Children must be accompanied by a family member, such as parents, siblings over the age of 18, or grandparents.
Your child brought home a flyer in December. The deadline to sing up for ht course is Monday 8th January 2024. We've had lots of families sign up but still have 2 places.
