Experiences Week
Dosbarth Llwynog - 8.10.26
We have enjoyed another incredibly rich and varied week in Dosbarth Llwynog! From interactive courtrooms to community visits, our Year 6 pupils have shown great enthusiasm, maturity, and focus throughout.
Magistrates Workshop & Courtroom Roleplay
Earlier this week, local Magistrates visited our class to run an engaging interactive workshop. The children gained valuable insights into the justice system before taking part in a full roleplay scenario. They took on various court roles, debated evidence, and demonstrated fantastic critical thinking and speaking skills.
Anti-Racism Project: The Evolution of Art
We held our final session in our ongoing Anti-Racism project, turning our focus to how art has evolved over time. The children explored how diverse cultural perspectives have shaped artistic styles throughout history, bringing a creative and reflective close to this vital project.
Community Visit: St Canna's Church & Harvest Festival
On Thursday, we walked as a class to St Canna’s Church to help set up for the upcoming Harvest Festival. This visit provided a wonderful hands-on connection to our local Cynefin journey, giving pupils the chance to see historical artefacts up close in their local setting.
