Dosbarth Draenog - 12.12.25
This week in Dosbarth Draenog, we have been bustling with exciting activities and learning opportunities! Our focus has been on investigating measurements, specifically length. The children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring different ways to measure objects around the classroom and outside. It’s been wonderful to see their enthusiasm as they compare lengths and discuss their findings with one another.
In literacy, we took a creative turn by writing our very own eco-friendly letters. The students expressed their thoughts on how we can all contribute to a healthier planet, showcasing their understanding of environmental issues. It was heartwarming to read their heartfelt messages and see their commitment to making a difference.
Additionally, we delved into the rich tapestry of world religions, exploring how various cultures celebrate their holidays. The discussions sparked curiosity and respect for diversity, as the children shared what they learned about different traditions and practices. It’s essential for our students to appreciate the variety of beliefs that exist in our world.
To top off our week, we had the fantastic opportunity to build another fire during our Forest School session. The children were thrilled to gather around the fire, learning about safety and teamwork while enjoying the great outdoors. These experiences not only enhance their learning but also foster a sense of community and connection with nature.
Thank you so much for all your support during this first term. We are looking forward to more adventures and learning in the weeks to come!
