🌱 Year 3 Weekly Newsletter 🌱

What a busy and exciting week we’ve had in Year 3! We’ve been working hard getting everything ready for our Farmers Market, and we’re so proud of all that we’ve achieved.

Over the week, we:
🌿 Made herb bundles straight from our school allotment – they smelled amazing!
💷 Did market research to find out how much our products should cost – we looked at real prices to help us be smart little sellers.
🛒 Designed and created our market stall, thinking carefully about how to make it eye-catching and welcoming.

At our Farmers Market, we sold:
💐 Herb bouquets
🌸 Wildflower bouquets
🥕 A colourful vegetable box
🍓 Strawberry plants – all grown with care in our allotment!

We also had a brilliant trip to Springfield Strawberry Farm, where we learned all about how fresh produce is grown, harvested, and sold to supermarkets across the country. It was fascinating to see the journey our food makes from farm to fork.

This week has been full of learning, creativity and teamwork. A big well done to all of Year 3 for their amazing effort and enthusiasm!
