Blwyddyn Newydd Dda!! Happy New year! Welcome back and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas break. This week we have been settling ourselves back into routine and reminding ourselves of expectations for behaviour and work. We have been discussing our new year goals and ambitions both inside and outside of school. We are really excited to be starting our new topic next week.

With that in mind, on Tuesday 13^th January we are going to have a Jump In day. For this we are going to be working as a team to create a space scape for our classroom ceiling. Children will work collaboratively to create paper maiche planets, rockets and astronauts using junk modelling. Due to this please could you bring in any recycled items, such as cardboard rolls, foil, cardboard boxes, which you think would be suitable for our model making. 

On Tuesday all children are also welcome to come dressed up in something relating to space. It could be an astronaut, a scientist or an alien. Let your imagination run wild!
