We have had a wonderful and very busy week in Pili Pala, full of learning, exploring and lots of fun!

In literacy, we have been working hard writing instructions to help Little Red Riding Hood. We talked about how instructions need to be clear and in the right order. The children did an amazing job thinking carefully about what Little Red Riding Hood should do on her journey through the woods.

In maths, we have been counting and practising our number skills through fun activities and games. The children are becoming more confident, recognising numbers and counting carefully.

In PE, we used our imaginations and became puppets! We practised moving our bodies in different ways, exploring balance, control and expression as we pretended our strings were being pulled.

In science, we turned into little investigators and explored materials around the school. We touched, looked at and talked about different objects, thinking about what they are made from and how they feel.
