This week in Pili Pala, we have been thinking carefully about Remembrance and Peace. The children showed great empathy and thoughtfulness as we talked about the importance of remembering those who helped to keep us safe and how we can help to make the world a peaceful place. 💖

We’ve also been busy with our pirate stories! The children loved using their imaginations to create exciting adventures on the high seas — complete with treasure, maps, and some very creative pirate names! 🏝️✨

As part of our Health and Well-being learning, we’ve been exploring our feelings by talking about things that are scary and things that are not scary. The children shared some wonderful ideas and supported each other so kindly during these discussions. 🌈

Next week, we’ll be continuing our pirate theme by:

⚓ Creating our own pirate characters

⚓ Making clay pirate ships

⚓ Designing special pictures of our families
