What a busy and exciting week it’s been in Pili Pala!

Our young pirates have been hard at work writing sentences all about their own pirates – who they are, what they do, and where they sail to on their adventures. We were so impressed with how carefully everyone used their sounds to build super sentences and add lots of creative detail! ✍️

We’ve also been getting festive as the children have been preparing their special Christmas card designs for the PTA to send away for printing. There were lots of beautiful, colourful creations – we can’t wait to see the finished cards! 🎨🎄

In our provision areas, pirate play has continued to inspire our learning. The children have been:
🏰 Building forts to protect their pirate crews.
💎 Making treasure and decorating it with sparkly jewels.
🪙 Matching and sorting coins to count out their pirate loot.

It’s been wonderful to see so much imagination, teamwork, and problem-solving in action. Da iawn, Pili Pala – you are all superstar pirates! ⭐️⚓️
