This week’s piece of homework is:

In nursery this week we have been exploring capacity. We have been filling bottles, full, half full and nearly empty. For homework this week, we would love you to explore this further using water, rice, pasta, sand etc.

You could use cups, bottles or bowls. Let your child pour between containers, talk about empty, full, too full.

Compare large and small containers. Which container will hold the most? Is the container full or empty? You can record this on Seesaw or draw pictures in the home learning log.
