This week in Dosbarth Gwenynen, we have been having so much fun exploring maths and sounds! In our maths activities, we focused on smallest and biggest shells. The children loved finding different shells, comparing their sizes, and putting them in order from smallest to biggest. It was fantastic to see everyone using their careful observation skills and counting as they went.

In literacy, we have been practising the sounds ‘m’ and ‘a’. The children enjoyed spotting objects around the classroom that start with these sounds and even made up some fun words themselves!

We also spent time practising our number 3, counting carefully, and making groups of three with different objects. The children are getting really confident with recognising and writing this number.
