What a busy and exciting week we have had in Dosbarth Gwenynen! We have been working hard on our Cynefin project and have loved finding out more about our local area and how it has changed over time.
We have been looking at photographs of local villages and discussing the different features we can see. We have been thinking about what our villages have today compared with what they used to have in the past. We were also very lucky to welcome some special visitors into our classroom, who shared their memories of what Llangan School was like when they were children. The children loved listening to their stories and finding out how school life has changed!
We wrapped up in our wellies and headed outside to investigate our school environment. The children enjoyed exploring, looking carefully at what they could see and discovering more about our school grounds.
Our outdoor area has been full of excitement this week! The children have been busy exploring our outdoor cool challenges, working together, investigating and having lots of fun while learning.
We have also been developing our ball skills in PE. The children have been practising throwing, catching, kicking and controlling balls and have had lots of fun getting active together!
A very special thank you to our older nursery children for being such wonderful role models this week. They have been helping our new children settle into nursery, showing them around and making them feel welcome. It has been lovely to see their caring and kind natures shining through and a massive welcome to all our new children! You have settled into Dosbarth Gwenynen so well, and we are so proud of you.
