Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful half-term break and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine we had last week. Unfortunately, the weather has taken a turn this week, but that has not stopped us from having lots of fun in Dosbarth Gwenynen.

This week, we have been exploring the important topic of recycling and looking after our environment, linked to our book of the week, Our World. The children have been learning about different ways we can help to care for our planet and make a positive difference.

In our activities, the children have been sorting, counting and categorising recyclable objects, helping to develop both their mathematical and thinking skills. They have also been creating posters to share ideas about how we can save the Earth and protect our environment.

In the construction area, the children have been busy designing and building their own recycling centres, while in the creative area they have enjoyed sponge painting the Earth and discussing ways that we can look after it.

It has been wonderful to hear the children's ideas about recycling and caring for our world. We are very proud of their enthusiasm and thoughtful contributions.
