We have had a very busy and exciting week in Dosbarth Gwenynen!

This week, our learning has been linked to the wonderful book The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle. The children have taken part in lots of fun challenges and creative activities throughout the classroom.

In maths, we explored number formation and practised our one-to-one correspondence skills through practical activities and games. We have also been learning about plants by drawing and labelling the different parts of a plant.

The children enjoyed getting creative outdoors and in the classroom by making beautiful nature garlands and colourful sunflower prints inspired by our story work.

On Wednesday, we celebrated World Bee Day by creating fantastic bee mosaics. The children loved learning and talking about bees and why they are important.

Thursday was a wonderful and energetic day for everyone! The morning was filled with lots of exciting sporting activities, followed by a lovely afternoon where parents joined us for more fun. We then finished the day with a fantastic fun day event which the children thoroughly enjoyed.
