Thursday 13th November

Our learners have been busy embracing the great outdoors this week!
🌱 Years 2/3 rolled up their sleeves to clear the autumn beds, compost the old growth and prep the soil ready for winter planting. They then put their fine-motor skills to the test by creating beautiful willow frames — amazing teamwork and focus!

🐦 Year 6 mixed up their own fat balls to help support our native birds through the colder months. They also spent time with Vale Nature experts who visited to check our bird-nesting boxes and share their knowledge about local wildlife.

After that, they began crafting independent willow structures, using both fine-motor and early drilling skills.

🌳 A brilliant week of hands-on learning, caring for our environment and building practical skills. Da iawn pawb! 💚
