Our topic over the last few weeks of term, is looking at Christmas celebrations around the world and how different countries celebrate this time of year. Looking at different traditions countries have, such as the food they eat, special days, special celebrations or unique events they have. 

*Beginning: Create a fact file telling us about how you celebrate your Christmas or Wintertime. Tell us about any special traditions you have. Are there special foods you eat? Are there any special events you go to every year?

** Developing: Compare and contrast your Christmas traditions or celebrations with another country. What are the similarities or differences how you celebrate Christmas compared to how a child in another country celebrates their Christmas.

*** Mastery: Compare and contrast the Christmas traditions and celebrations between two different countries. Find out about special events, food they eat and celebrations. What are the similarities and differences?
