Edshed – Guided Reading weekly spelling assignments.

RWI Spellings are inside Reading Records and Learning Logs

Practical Challenge:

Use recycled materials and supplies you may have around the house to create a Celtic or Roman artefact, such as a Celtic roundhouse, a Roman chariot or some Roman coins, for example.

Please create them so they could stand/fit on an A4 piece of paper. This will enable us to have room in class to display them.

Written Challenge:

Create a leaflet all about the Celts. You can include all the information we have found out so far about the Celts and include any new facts you can find out. You can include pictures or drawings to bring your leaflet to life. You can talk about what their homes looked like; what people wore and ate; famous leaders and maybe a map of where the Celts lived in Wales.

ICT Challenge:

Create a Powerpoint or Google slides presentation all about life in Wales during the Celtic times. You could be a Celtic villager or a modern historian telling the story. You can talk about what their homes looked like; what people wore and ate; famous leaders and maybe a map of where the Celts lived in Wales. Remember to include images, different font styles and sizes, you could even record your voice to explain the information.

Your presentation can be saved to your Hwb account or you can send to our Google Classroom.
