We have been practising our place value in class. Have a go at these Place Value Challenges. You can do it!

*Write numbers from 1 to 30. Then, write how many 10s and 1s are in each number. You can write it like this –

8 = 8 1s

9= 9 1s

10 = 1 10 and 0 1s

11 = 1 10 and 1 1

12 = 1 10 and 2 1s etc.

** Write the value of each digit in the following numbers. You can answer like this:

156 = 100 + 50 + 6
