  • Homework - Dosbarth Draenog - 9.10.25

    Published 09/10/25, by Tom Howles

    Things to remember -

Reading books - These have been replaced if needed to. Please keep encouraging your child to log what they read into their record.

Mathletics - This has been updated. Their logins are in the inside of their Homework book.

EdShed - This aligns with the spellings. These words will be changed every week.

Each week, I upload their spellings onto their Google Classroom. There is a Spelling folder, which has each weeks spelling.

The spelling test this week is on Thursday!

Science based homework, linked to our learning. Pupils also have access to the document on Google Classroom, under the Homework tab. Due in - 22.10.25

Over the next week, observe how sunlight changes around your home (or outside). Record what you notice about:

    • Where sunlight shines the most during the day

    • Which places get warm or stay cool

    • How light helps you see inside your home or outside

Imagine your home is a castle! Write or draw about how these changes in sunlight might affect the people living there. For example, how would sunlight help them stay warm, find their way, or feel comfortable?

    Prompt ideas for your diary:

    • What time of day does sunlight shine in your bedroom or living room?

    • Are there places in your home or garden that stay dark or cool?

    • How might the people in a castle use sunlight to their advantage?
