Over the next week, observe how sunlight changes around your home (or outside). Record what you notice about:

Where sunlight shines the most during the day

Which places get warm or stay cool

How light helps you see inside your home or outside
Imagine your home is a castle! Write or draw about how these changes in sunlight might affect the people living there. For example, how would sunlight help them stay warm, find their way, or feel comfortable?
Prompt ideas for your diary:

Are there places in your home or garden that stay dark or cool?
