Headteacher’s Blog –Friday 7th November
It’s been another busy and exciting week here at Llangan Primary School, filled with community spirit, kindness and pupil leadership at its very best.
Odd Socks Day & Anti-Bullying Week
Next week, our Healthy and Fit Committee will be leading learning across the school for Anti-Bullying Week.
We’ll be launching the week with Odd Socks Day on Monday 10th November 🧦.
Everyone is encouraged to come to school wearing odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique and to show that we stand together against bullying. 💙
The Healthy and Fit Committee have organised a special assembly to kick-start the week, linking to the national Anti-Bullying Alliance initiative.

Year 4 Residential
Our Year 4 pupils are heading off on their residential trip to Cardiff and Barry next week — a fantastic opportunity for adventure, independence and teamwork. We can’t wait to hear all about their experiences when they return!
Children in Need – Friday 14th November
On Friday, our School Council will be leading fundraising for Children in Need.
Pupils are invited to wear their own clothes and make a small donation via ParentPay to support this wonderful charity.

In the News This Week
Our Year 6 pupils have been selling poppies this week to support the Royal British Legion — a lovely way to show respect and remembrance.
On Tuesday, we said a fond farewell and a huge thank you to two long-serving governors, Mr Worrall and Mrs Brookes.
Our Head Boy and Head Girl proudly presented them with special thank-you cards from all our pupils, staff and governors — recognising their many years of dedicated service to Llangan Primary School.

Both have worked tirelessly to support our school community, champion our children and help guide the school with wisdom, kindness and commitment.
Diolch yn fawr iawn for everything you have done for Llangan — you will always be part of our story. 💙
Open Day Thanks
A huge thank you to all the families who helped promote our Open Day and to our amazing Year 6 pupils who led tours for prospective parents.
Their pride, confidence and enthusiasm were wonderful to see — true ambassadors for our school.
Have a fantastic weekend, everyone.
Mr Griffiths
