Junior's Summer Play – The Wizard of Oz
The children in our junior classes are busy rehearsing for this year’s summer production, The Wizard of Oz – and we can’t wait for you to see their hard work come to life!
🎟 Tickets are now on sale via ParentPay. Each family can purchase up to 2 tickets per performance (2pm and 5pm).
📅 Please ensure you book your tickets by Monday 7 July. Any remaining tickets will be released on Tuesday 8 July on a first-come, first-served basis.
👟 A reminder that pupils will need to return to school by 4.45pm for the evening performance.

🎉 Llangan Fest – End of Year Celebration
We’re thrilled to announce Llangan Fest, our fun-filled end-of-year celebration, taking place on the last day of term. This special afternoon marks the final day for our wonderful Year 6 pupils and the end of a fantastic school year.
The children chose to spend the profits they earned at the Farmers’ Market on creating a real festival vibe, including:
✨ Music by DJ Scalpel
✨ Bouncy castle
✨ Inflatable assault course
✨ Penalty shoot-out
✨ Ice cream van
🎈 The event is free for all pupils, and we’d love to welcome parents to join us from 1:30pm to 3:15pm if you’re able.

Next Friday, children will be bringing home their Annual Progress Report. Please check their bags at the end of the day!

📚 Cowbridge Library Summer Reading Challenge – Join the fun!

🌱 What’s been happening this week?
🌿 Outdoor Learning
On Thursday, the children picked fresh produce they’ve grown themselves — everything from blackcurrants and potatoes to carrots, garlic, cucumber, and even chilli plants! The veggie boxes (£10 each) were snapped up by families after school.
🔴 Supporting FA Wales Women’s Team
On Wednesday, we joined schools across Wales for the Urdd Jambori, proudly supporting the FA Wales women’s team. Our school turned red to cheer them on!
🎤 PTA Taylor Swift Tribute Night
What a brilliant night we had on Thursday at the PTA’s Taylor Swift tribute evening! The hall was rocking, the glitter was sparkling, and everyone — children and grown-ups alike — had a fabulous time singing along to the hits.
