Dear Parents and Carers,
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this newsletter finds you well. It has been an eventful week here at Llangan Primary School, with the community celebrating Anti Bullying week, a national event organised by the charity the Anti Bullying Alliance. The theme for this year's campaign was 'Make A Noise About Bullying', and we commenced the week with a fun-filled Odd Socks Day on Monday 13th November. It was heartwarming to witness both adults and children embracing their individuality by wearing odd socks.
To further emphasize our commitment to eradicating bullying from our school, we gathered together for a special assembly, where we shared the anti-bullying message and pledged to stand against any form of bullying. Moreover, each class engaged in enlightening lessons aimed at deepening the children's understanding of the campaign's messages.
If you are interested in learning about what each class has been studying, I encourage you to visit our school's website and explore the class blogs. Here, you will find detailed updates on the lessons and activities undertaken.
I am thrilled to announce that on Monday 4th December, our school will be hosting workshops led by the charity Bullies Out. This event will allow us to delve even deeper into the anti-bullying message and equip our students with the necessary skills to combat bullying.
