We have had a fantastic first week back in Pili Pala and it has been wonderful to see everyone settle back into school so happily and confidently.

In maths, we have been exploring different ways of representing numbers. The children have been using practical resources, drawings and discussions to show their understanding and explain their thinking.

In literacy, we have been learning about instructions and identifying bossy verbs. The children enjoyed spotting action words and beginning to think about how clear instructions help us to complete tasks successfully.

During our COOL challenges, we have been focusing on the new year, setting new targets and resolutions, and talking about ways we can challenge ourselves and keep improving.

✨ Looking ahead to next week: we will be starting our exciting new inquiry on Puppets! We can’t wait to explore how puppets are made, how they move, and how they can be used to tell stories.
