A Festive and Fun-Filled Week in Year 2 & 3 🎄
It has been a wonderfully busy and festive week in our Year 2 and 3 class!
In maths, we have been revising tally charts by discovering our friends’ favourite things about Christmas. The children loved collecting data and sharing their results, while practising important counting and recording skills.
Following on from their work last week, our Year 3 children have been practising their singing and acting skills in preparation for the KS2 Christmas concert on Wednesday. They were absolutely amazing, and we are so proud of all their hard work, confidence and enthusiasm.
Across the class, we have also been very creative, making decorations and designing beautiful Christmas cards. The classroom has been full of festive cheer and excitement.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit from Father Christmas and our school Christmas dinner, which was a real highlight for everyone and a lovely way to celebrate together.
It has truly been a busy end to a wonderful term, and we are so proud of everything the children have achieved. Well done, Year 2 and 3 – you have been fantastic!
It has been a wonderful week, but it is also ending with sadness. Mr Rees is leaving us. He is a truly important member of our class. He brings a smile, patience and fun every day. He will be missed by us all in Tylluan Eira and Llangan as a whole. Thank you for everything Mr Rees and we wish you luck for the future. Keep in touch!
