This week in Pili Pala, the children have been busy preparing for Jump Out Day and wrapping up our pirate inquiry, “Why Were Pirates So Scary?” They have enjoyed finishing their pirate-themed art, creating clay pirate ships, and practising our pirate song. We hope you enjoyed their video. It was fantastic to see their confidence and enthusiasm shine!

The children have also begun practising for our Christmas concert, and it’s wonderful to see their excitement building. In maths, we have been working with 5 frames and 10 frames, helping the children develop their understanding of numbers and early addition skills.

Next week, we will start our main practices for the Christmas concert and bring our science topic to a close by exploring floating and sinking.

A reminder to all parents: please can all Christmas concert costumes be sent into school by Monday 8th December 2025.
