We’ve had another busy and exciting week in Nursery, full of creativity, exploration, and imaginative play!

📚 This week we dived into the wonderfully adventurous story Port Side Pirates. The children enjoyed joining in with the rhythm of the book and discovering new pirate vocabulary. They also created their very own pirate fact files, choosing pirate names and sharing fun details about their characters!

🔢 In Maths, we focused on developing our understanding of positional language. The children practiced using words such as under, next to, behind, in front of, and on top of through games, stories, and pirate-themed activities.

🌈 During Welly Wednesday, we combined outdoor learning with our Welsh language skills. The children searched for colourful parrots hidden around the school, practising their Welsh colour names along the way. Great spotting, everyone—da iawn!

🎨On Tuesday we spent a whole morning immersed in art as the children created some truly fantastic pieces for our upcoming Jump-Out Afternoon. They explored different textures, colours, and techniques to produce work we can’t wait for you to see!
