This week has been an exciting one in Year 2 and 3 as we celebrated Creative Week! On Tuesday we enjoyed a full day dedicated to creativity, where we explored mosaics, painting, and designing with recycled materials to create our artwork for the upcoming Jump Out Day. Our projects took us a little longer than expected, but we wanted to take our time and produce work we could be truly proud of — and we certainly did!

In maths, we continued our learning on multiplication and used our strategies to solve a range of word problems. 

Meanwhile in literacy, we built word banks and consolidated our skills in punctuation, adjectives, similes, and conjunctions as we get ready to write our own stories next week.

We were also introduced to our Independent Inquiry Rich Tasks, which will take the form of drama sketches, interviews, or presentations. We are very excited to perform these for the younger children in school next week!
