What a fantastic week it’s been in Dosbarth Gwenynen! We’ve been busy learning, celebrating, and showing how kind and respectful we can be.

On Shwmae Day, we joined schools all across Wales in celebrating our wonderful Welsh language. Everyone made a special effort to say “Shwmae!” and to use more Welsh throughout the day. The classroom was full of smiles and friendly greetings - bendigedig pawb!

We have also been learning about what it means to be an anti-racist school. We talked about kindness, fairness, and how everyone should be treated equally, no matter what they look like or where they come from. The children shared thoughtful ideas about how to make sure our classroom is a welcoming place for everyone.

In our Welsh lessons, we’ve been exploring lliwiau Cymraeg (Welsh colours)! From glas to melyn, coch to gwyrdd, the children have been practising saying and using colours in their everyday learning. We even played some fun games and created colourful artwork to help us remember them!
