This week, Dosbarth Draenog and Dosbarth Mochyn Ddaer embraced the outdoors to support Mrs Stevens in a fantastic hands-on project: weaving willow fences for our Forest School area. Pupils worked collaboratively to shape and weave the willow, learning about natural materials and traditional techniques.

After helping with the main fences, each pupil had the chance to create their own miniature version—showing off their creativity and problem-solving skills. We also took time to fine-tune our hammering techniques, developing precision and safety awareness while working with real tools.

It was a brilliant blend of teamwork, craftsmanship, and outdoor learning. Da iawn pawb!
