It's starting to feel like Autumn...

Dosbarth Draenog - 16.10.25

In Dosbarth Draenog, we’ve been busy across all areas of learning! Our literacy journey has taken us into the world of non-chronological reports. Pupils have been exploring how to organise information clearly and use formal language to present facts—skills that will help us write about historical figures and castle life.

In numeracy, we’ve been practising the column method for both subtraction and addition, with pupils showing great resilience and accuracy in their calculations.

We’ve also continued our learning around anti-racism, discussing fairness, respect, and how we can be allies to others. These conversations have been thoughtful and powerful.

Finally, our castles topic has led us to explore significant Welsh figures, including Owain Glyndŵr. Pupils have been investigating his role in Welsh history and how his actions shaped the future of Wales.
