What a wonderful final week we’ve had together before our summer holiday break!

One of our highlights was when Miss Hughes shared a picture of what our chicks look like now - they’re huge! We loved coming up with name ideas for them.

On Thursday, we celebrated our Nursery graduation. Our older Nursery friends received their special medals and certificates ready for their exciting next step into Reception this September. 

This week, we have also been adding the finishing touches to our ‘Kindness Monster’ who has been helping the Colour Monster learn all about what it means to be kind. We’ve spent time talking about how every little act of kindness makes a big difference to our friends and our school.

To make sure everyone goes into the holidays feeling loved, we created keepsakes full of kind words and special memories. We wrote our names on a big sheet of paper, and our classmates added thoughtful messages about what they love and admire about them. Watching everyone’s faces light up as they read what their friends had written was a lovely reminder of how powerful kindness can be.

Finally, we’d like to say a huge thank you to all our parents and families for your continued support, thoughtful cards and gifts, and for being such a special part of our school community. It has been an absolute privilege to teach your wonderful children this year - we really are the luckiest teachers!
