What a whirlwind of a week it has been in Dosbarth Llwynog! The highlight, without a doubt, was our dazzling performances in the Key Stage 2 Summer Show – The Wizard of Oz. After weeks of hard work, line-learning, costume prepping, and daily rehearsals, the big moment finally arrived… and wow, did it deliver!

Our class shone brightly on stage, with many Year 5 and 6 pupils stepping confidently into lead roles, bringing their characters to life with energy, expression, and humour. The ensemble sang beautifully throughout and added a magical atmosphere to each scene. The entire production was a true team effort and we couldn't be prouder of everyone involved – from performers to backstage helpers. Bravo, Dosbarth Llwynog!

Next week is another exciting chapter for our Year 6 pupils as we look forward to our special leavers’ trip and assembly. It's a time to celebrate memories, friendships and all the incredible achievements of their final year in primary school.

As the summer term draws to a close, we’ve been reflecting on what a fabulous term it has been – filled with amazing learning, new experiences, and lots of laughter. From enterprise projects and transition days to science investigations and performances, it’s been a term to remember.
