Dosbarth Llwynog Weekly Blog – Rehearsals have begun!

What a busy and exciting week it has been in Dosbarth Llwynog!
This week, our committees have come together to reflect on the progress we've made and to plan our next steps in making Llangan an even better place to learn. Everyone had a voice in shaping our action plans, and we’re proud of the thoughtful ideas and teamwork on display.
In Maths, we've been stretching our brains by measuring angles, tackling algebra, and plotting co-ordinates. It’s been brilliant to see pupils making connections between these skills and real-life situations – especially useful as we start thinking about our enterprise stalls!
Literacy saw the completion of our hot tasks as we brought our writing journeys to a close. There’s been a buzz of creativity in the air as learners edited and improved their work to produce some fantastic final pieces.
During Inquiry, we’ve been busy planning our enterprise projects for the upcoming Llangan Farmers Market at Jump Out Day next week. From pricing and profits to branding and design, we’re getting ready to show off our entrepreneurial skills.
Our Science investigations this week focused on how soil pH affects plant growth. We’ve asked scientific questions, planned fair tests, and started to observe some fascinating results already.
In Welsh, we’ve been writing and presenting about ourselves using “Pwy ydw i?” It’s been a lovely way to share our personalities and practice our Welsh speaking and writing at the same time.
And of course… we can’t forget rehearsals for our summer show – The Wizard of Oz! Singing voices are warming up, scenes are coming to life, and the excitement is building as we prepare to take to the stage.
Da iawn pawb – another week of hard work, creativity, and teamwork. 🌟
