Super Seabins and Seagrass!
It has been a very busy and exciting week in our classroom, filled with learning, creativity, and critical thinking! Here’s a look at what we’ve been working on:
Literacy
We have embarked on our final writing journey of the term – crafting our very own encyclopaedia entries! We put our research skills to the test, gathering information on a variety of topics, and organising our knowledge into well-structured pieces.
Mathematics:
In maths, we have been applying our understanding of money and decimal places. Through practical exercises and real-world scenarios, we have been working on calculations that involve adding, subtracting, and comparing amounts.
Expressive Arts:
We have been getting ourselves ready for Jump Out Day! Designing and creating props to help enhance our showcase!
Science:
This week, we also delved into an important environmental discussion, comparing and contrasting the use of sea bins and seagrass. Through research and discussions, we explored how each contributes to ocean conservation and sustainability. This has encouraged us to think critically about solutions to environmental challenges and the role we all play in protecting our planet.
It has been a busy week and we can't wait for Jump Out Day next week!
