Dear Parents, Carers, and Community,

We have had an incredible, hands-on week in Dosbarth Llwynog! From stepping back in time to learning vital life skills, the pupils have thrown themselves into every activity with brilliant enthusiasm.

Inquiry Launch: Life in the Industrial Revolution

We kicked off our new inquiry with an immersive morning experiencing life during the Industrial Revolution! The pupils stepped into the shoes of factory workers, getting a authentic feel for what working life was like during this transformative period in history.

Anti-Racism Project with Helen & Akulah

We continued our ongoing Anti-Racism work alongside our fantastic visitors, Helen and Akulah. This week, the pupils explored the history and global significance of cotton, culminating in a brilliant creative dance performance that expressed the themes they have been studying.

First Aid Training

Our Year 6 pupils took on an important new responsibility this week by completing practical First Aid training. They learned key skills to help keep themselves and others safe, showing great maturity throughout the session.

European Day of Languages: Focus on Poland

To celebrate European Day of Languages, we turned our focus to Poland! The children enjoyed learning about Polish culture and picking up some useful vocabulary along the way. Do widzenia!

Thank you for your continued support as always. Have a wonderful weekend!
