We have been very busy in Year 2/3 and have had a fantastic start to our learning!

Maths
We have been developing and practising a range of different maths skills. The children have been working hard, building their confidence and putting their mathematical thinking into practice.

Writing
We have been busy writing letters to our new teachers, thinking carefully about what we would like to share with them. We have also been using a range of different sentence starters to help us write about our summer holidays. It has been wonderful hearing all about the exciting things the children have been doing!

Creative Learning
We have been getting creative too! The children have enjoyed creating portraits of themselves, thinking carefully about their features and adding lots of detail to their artwork.

Construction Area
Our construction area has been a hive of activity! Some of the children have been busy designing and building their own versions of our school, using their creativity, problem-solving skills and imagination.

Using Technology
Some of us have also been learning how to use Google Classroom to create slides all about ourselves. We have been developing our digital skills while sharing information about our interests, families and the things that make us unique.

It has been a wonderful start to our time in Year 2/3, and we are so proud of the enthusiasm, creativity and hard work the children have shown. Well done, Year 2/3!
