What a lovely first week back we have had in Dosbarth Pili-Pala! 🦋 We hope all of our families had a wonderful summer holiday and enjoyed making lots of special memories together.

This week, we were very excited to welcome back our familiar faces, our Reception children moving up from Nursery, and some new children joining our school. Our first couple of days have been all about settling in, getting to know our teachers and friends, becoming familiar with our new routines and exploring everything our classroom has to offer.

Our Year 1 children have been fantastic role models and have taken their new responsibilities in their stride. They have been so kind and caring towards our new friends, helping them to find their way around, showing them our classroom routines and making sure they feel happy and welcome in Pili-Pala. We are already so proud of how grown-up they are!

The children have loved exploring all that our classroom has to offer, particularly our new role play area. We have also enjoyed making our own playdough and practising our letter formation in shaving foam!

Most importantly, we have spent lots of time exploring, talking and getting to know one another as we begin to build our new Pili-Pala family. We have been so impressed with how well everyone has settled in and how confidently our new Reception children have embraced their first few days. 

We couldn't have asked for a better start to the new school year and are so excited for all of the learning, fun and adventures ahead of us in Dosbarth Pili-Pala! 🦋💛
