What a wonderful week we have had in Dosbarth Gwenynen!

This week in Maths, we have been developing our estimating skills by making sensible guesses and checking how close we were.

In Literacy, we have continued to enjoy The Snail and the Whale, exploring the letter sounds we could hear in the story and retelling it together in our Tough Spot through imaginative play and storytelling.

During our Outdoor Learning, the children became photographers, using the iPads to take pictures of different areas around our school grounds. They enjoyed exploring the outdoor environment and talking about the features they discovered.

Today, we celebrated our Nursery Graduation Ceremony. It was a lovely opportunity to reflect on the amazing year we have shared together. We are incredibly proud of every one of them and all they have achieved.

Exciting News!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Dosbarth Gwenynen has won this year's Tlws y Gofalwr Award for the Tidiest Classroom! The children have worked incredibly hard all year to look after our classroom, tidy away resources and take pride in their learning environment. They should all be very proud of this fantastic achievement!

To celebrate our success, Mr Godwin, our caretaker, has kindly arranged a special surprise for the children on Tuesday. Children are invited to come to school wearing their party clothes so we can celebrate together. We can't wait!
