What a busy and exciting week we have had in Dosbarth Gwenynen!

This week, we have been busy planting more seeds and investigating how our fruit and vegetable plants have been growing in the poly tunnel during our Welly Wednesday session. The children enjoyed observing the changes in the plants and discussing what they needed to grow.

As part of our learning about the world around us, we have been exploring buildings from around the world in the construction area. In the small world area, we have been investigating Antarctica and learning about the animals that live there.

We have also been using our impressive Welsh language skills to tell our friends where we live.

In our maths activities, we have been interpreting data and transferring our findings into pictograms. The children worked hard to organise and represent information clearly.

Meanwhile, in the literacy area, we have been making passports and imagining journeys to different places around the world.

Wow – what a busy week of learning, exploring and discovering!
