Pili Pala WB 1st June 2026

What a busy and exciting week we have had in Pili Pala!
On Tuesday, the children showed great creativity by designing and creating fantastic 3D minibeasts using recycled materials. They carefully selected resources, shared ideas with their friends, and worked hard to bring their minibeasts to life. We were so impressed with their imagination and problem-solving skills.
In literacy, we have been developing our writing skills by writing up recipes. The children thought carefully about the ingredients and instructions needed, using sequencing words to help explain each step clearly. They worked hard to ensure their writing was easy for others to follow.
Our young scientists have also begun a new investigation. Before starting, the children discussed what they thought might happen and made their own predictions. We talked about the importance of observing carefully and recording what we notice as the investigation progresses. We are looking forward to seeing if our predictions are correct!
We have continued to practise our Welsh conversation skills throughout the week. The children have been growing in confidence when asking and answering simple questions, using familiar phrases during classroom activities and daily routines. It has been wonderful to hear so much Welsh being spoken independently.
Da iawn, Pili Pala! We are very proud of all your hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to try new things.
Diolch for your continued support. We hope you have a lovely weekend!
