“From Seedlings to Sea Creatures – What a Week!”
We’ve had a very busy and exciting week in Dosbarth Gwenynen!
We started the week by planting our seedlings, getting ready for our upcoming “Jump Out Day” and preparing for our enterprise stall. The children were very engaged and are enjoying taking responsibility for looking after their plants.
During our outdoor learning, we were very excited to discover worms! We have now set up our own wormery and the children are enjoying observing how the worms move and live in their environment.
Our caterpillars have also arrived, and the children are fascinated by them. We are carefully observing them each day and are looking forward to noticing and discussing any changes as they grow.
Our school trip to the beach was amazing! The children took part in rock pool workshops and discovered lots of interesting sea creatures. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience that they all thoroughly enjoyed.
A huge thank you to our parent volunteers for being so supportive, hands-on, and enthusiastic throughout the trip. It was greatly appreciated and helped make the day such a success.
