Happy Easter!
What a fantastic and busy week we’ve had in Llwynog class!
In Maths, we have been working hard on pie charts, learning how to calculate and represent percentages accurately. We also explored how to find the mean and, importantly, focused on explaining our methods clearly so others can understand our thinking.
In Literacy, the children have completed their Mystery Stories. They carefully planned, wrote, and edited their work, showing great creativity and attention to detail. We are very proud of the suspense and imagination they have demonstrated!
To celebrate the end of our inquiry, we enjoyed an amazing Jump Out Day. It was wonderful to welcome our families into the classroom and share our learning journey all about flight and engineering. The children did a brilliant job showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm.
A huge thank you to our wonderful PTA for organising such fun activities, including the Hopathon on the bouncy castle and the exciting Easter egg hunt—what a treat!
We would also like to say a heartfelt diolch, goodbye, and good luck to our headteacher, Mr Griffiths. He will be greatly missed, and we wish him all the very best for the future.
Have a wonderful Easter break everyone. Stay safe over the two-week holiday, and we look forward to seeing you back in school for the summer term.
